We are only 2 miles from the Channel Tunnel entrance and with Eurotunnel being the UK's leading carrier for pets across the channel, taking on average around 15 000 pets a month, it makes sense to stay at the Holiday Inn Express Folkestone, where your cats and dogs are welcome.  

Facilities

We have 15 dedicated rooms for guests who travel with their pets.  As you can see we do not mind if your pet prefers to sleep on their own beds or we can provide a bed if you wish.

Pets are not permitted to enter into the dining area, however, we do not want you to miss out on our culinary delights so you are more than welcome to order from the bar and take you dinner up to your room and enjoy it there.

Space for walking pets

Is there somewhere for my pet to take a stroll and a relief break?

There sure is.  As most pet lovers know their pets do need to have a walk and a relief break, but do you really want to walk for miles to find a spot?  Your favourite canine can go just outside the hotel.  All we ask is that you ensure you clean up after your pet please.

A Pet Story

This gentleman wrote a letter to the owner of a hotel in a Midwest town he planned to visit and said, "I would very much like to bring my dog with me.  He is well-groomed and very well behaved.  Would you be willing to permit me to keep him in my room with me at night?"

This was the immediate reply:

"Sir, I've been operating this hotel for many years, and in all that time, I've never had a dog steal towels, bedclothes, silverware or pictures off the walls.  I've never had to evict a dog in the middle of the night for being drunk and disorderly.  And I've never had a dog run out on a hotel bill.  Yes, indeed, your dog is welcome at my hotel.  And, if your dog can vouch for you, you're welcome to stay here too."
